Stranger: idk.. I have a few friends up in Oregon but I like the east coast tooo.

You: I've never been to either coast. I think I've been to Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Canada. My family just doesn't go very many places.

You: Which is understandable for these last few years, our economy is not great.

Stranger: I've been a lot of places...I love to travel..which is also why I have no money

You: Well that could be a good reason

You: I love to travel too, I just don't.

Stranger: I hear detroit is dangerous.

You: In certain parts. Downtown is actually very nice. Besides, we're not the murder capital of the country anymore.

You: I live about 20 miles outside of town.

You: It's very funny though, the neighborhoods you don't ever go into are sometimes right next to the nicest ones.

You: Detroit gets a bad reputation, but once you're here, it's not so bad.

You: A friend of mine went to a family reunion and one of her cousins asked her if she gets shot at a lot.

You: So she told her that she does on like, the nicest, most isolated roads she could think of.

Stranger: no I used to live in Utah

You: Ah! I have a friend who's planning on moving there.

You: He's a mormon, so I like to make fun of him.

You: He says he's moving there because he has family so I joke that he's going to start one.

You: He's pretty crazy actually. He usually has a pretty long mohawk, in various colors.

You: His family though is pretty normal. He has about 293847239847239874 brothers and sisters, some of which are actually step brothers and sisters/cousins, because his dad married his mom's sister after she died.

Stranger: what?

Stranger: thats kind of weird

You: And his parents are really really old

You: It's very weird.

Stranger: hmm I have a friend like that

You: I guess that's why he's such a crazy guy

Stranger: but he has 11 brothers and sisters that are not step

You: Ah.

You: That must be a hassle sometimes.

Stranger: that a lot of family members..

Stranger: idk. when I hung out with him it was just him left in the house cuz he is the youngest

You: Same with my friend.

You: I haven't met any of his siblings yet.

Stranger: nice I got to meet all of them except one

You: I think his oldest sibling is like, 40 and has some amount of kids and I think they live in Utah or something. I don't really know. I'm just making assumptions because they're mormons.

So, we took Bodle to the vet and it turns out that he has fractured his radius and ulna in his leg and so they're going to try to give him a splint, and if that doesn't work he'll need surgery from a specialist surgeon because rabbits are considered exotic pets.

Fortunately we are approved for $2700 on a CareCredit card, and I'm looking into pet insurance right now that says will cover %90 of what's been done today and will also cover routine visits and some common emergencies. I figure that it can't hurt and it will be about $10 a month or something.

As of right now Bodle is still at the Emergency Vet because a lot of new cases came in and they needed to take care of those. Good news is they said they wouldn't charge us a boarding fee, and they'll call us so that we can come pick him up in a few hours.


Regardless of all of that, my dad still wants to go to Frankenmuth this weekend. Apparently it's Oktoberfest right now (even though it's September, I know. They're German. It doesn't have to make sense). So I'll have to talk to my mom about that and maybe convince her to let me take Carl because the two of us haven't gone together yet.

I'm thinking that the only thing I'd buy there was a new miniature violin. My other one broke some months ago and I really liked it :(





In other news, I'm having a really big bowl of the last of my special chocolate marshmallow ripple ice cream because I FUCKING DESERVE IT.

I came home from school to find Bodle with a pretty serious limp. He looks like he might be in pain. Unfortunately, my dad won't be home until about 7, and the nearest emergency clinic is in Novi. It's also going to cost $85 for the check up, and god only knows how much if there's something really wrong with him.

I don't know how it happened. He wasn't like that this morning. The only thing I can think of is that he tried to jump out of the cage and his foot got stuck.

As of right now, there's absolutely nothing I can do. Just wait.



And I just got jewed out of 40 points on a survey because "I had such a short response time that I could not have given thorough enough thought in responding to the Questions asked." Because that theory definitely takes into account that people are able to read faster than 200 w/m, or the fact that there are probably 20 words to each Question and that they're pretty straightforward.

... and so Oasis is no more. Sort of. Noel has left, but it isn't officially a break up. Or so I'm hearing. I don't know.
