"Are, what are you doing with a hammer?" "Have you ever seen The Last of The Mohicans? Just, just close your eyes Jasy."

You swear to try really hard to fix this okay?

I don't want to have to keep going through it, and neither do you.

Jumping a mountain range

Went to Carl's grandparents' house in Kalamazoo. They're nice. Very frail. I felt a little bit awkward. They didn't remember me, but that's okay. It happens. Especially with old people. I mean, Coach Vern doesn't even remember my name and I see him ALL THE TIME during outdoor season.

But I digress, which reminds me of THE CATCHER IN THE RYE a movie that I can't Quite remember and the character WHERE HE recalled when he was at the University and whenever they would have to give a speech in front of the class, all of the other kids would jump at the chance to shout "DIGRESSION!" every time he would get off topic to startle him and make him mess up. I remember that that was a good movie BOOK.
Thank you Sahana for having a better memory than I.

I can't remember things in detail. I can remember if something happened, but not when. So, it's frustrating for me when people ask me to elaborate, or else they don't believe me, when I know it's true. It's really hard to describe that intense feeling that you have but just can't express to other people. Obviously.

Aside from all of that, I had fun. I got candies for free and got to take a nap in the car with Carl, and it was warm in their house and all that jazz. I still have more candy, and also Carl forgot to get the candy out of my pocket that he had picked out to bring on the trip before they dropped me off, but it's okay because they didn't leave the candy bag at his grandparents' house like they had planned, so he can always get more.

I only wish I could have seen Carl a little bit longer. To get some alone time with him. I probably won't see him tomorrow. I have lots of homework to do. I need to start work on my catapult thing. I found out that there's actually no insulation in my house, except for the attic, so it's really cold now. I always thought that there was. I've started my holiday shopping. I've been getting stuff on ebay for relatively cheap. I've been using my dad's account, and therefore his credit card, but I'm being careful not to charge too much. It's probably only cost him about $15 so far. But after perusing through all of the cheap stuff they have, that website has bored me. I'll stick to Amazon and general internet browsing. I'll need to remind him to get my gift cards soon, and I'll have my mom give me my gift card so that I can pay my dad, or at least buy him a $15 equivalent gift.

Then, I will take some people out to dinner, buy myself a nice gift, buy Carl's gift, and then hopefully stockpile whatever's left until I get my birthday money. If there is anything left. Actually, that's a lie. I will spend all of it. I have no self control. That's what happens when you give poor people extra money.

I can't remember what happened to the permanent marker I kept in my backpack. I must have lost it. I liked to write stories with it in awkward places. Like in the back of library books and on the underside of tables.
